Last Chance to enter the Book Giveaway

The deadline is today to submit your questions to author and historian, J. David Markham.

Reminder: Not only do you get those niggling Napoleon questions also get your name entered into the book giveaway. And if Napoleon just ain't your thing, then you might want to ask David about his fascinating bit of "what if" history. For example, Would President Lincoln’s assassination during the Gettysburg Address have left the Confederacy as a separate country? You will have to get the book to find out.

To participate in the interview and book giveway, enter your question at the bottom of this post. Good luck!

Was Beethoven ever received in court by Napoleon? I know that Beethoven respected Napoleon greatly and dedicated the 3rd symphony to him. (Until he crowned himself emperor that is) Did the two men ever meet?
